Big Ear Betta fish on average have a dominant color of yellow or orange with white fins and tail.

But there is also a blue body with white fins and tail, the color is in accordance with the results of crossbreeding with previous brooders. The body color is evenly distributed, the skin layer and scales are the same color.

Big Ear Betta Food

Aquarium Setup

Caring for a Big Ear Betta is not difficult, but it still requires perseverance for it to develop properly.

Perfect container

Can use aquarium size 20×15015 cm or 30x15x20 cm. The point is not in an aquarium that is too small because it will make it difficult to move. Big Ear Bettas need extra space for their fins to move, so give the aquarium the right size so that the fins are not easily damaged.

Water type

Use well water or PAM that has been deposited overnight, to neutralize the chemicals in it. Don’t forget to change the water every 2-3 days.

Useful for natural antibiotics, so that the wide fins on the gills are not easily injured, if an injury occurs it will heal faster because the ketapang leaves make the pH of the water always in normal conditions.

Occasional drying in the sun to be more fresh and not stressed. Drying between 7 – 9 am or when the weather is warm and the sun is still dim or shady. Just do it once a week.
